The Latin name for Horsetail is Equisetum arvense. The English name is Horsetail. It is a plant from the horsetail family. Horsetail is good for tendons, bones, kidneys and bladder. It is a powerful herb that is very rich in minerals. The Greeks and Romans mainly used Heermoes for the wounded after battles.
The plant is also called 'Roobol', 'Field Horsetail', 'Cattail' or 'Unjer'. It is a perennial plant with a maximum height of 40 cm. In the spring, leafless stems with spore spikes appear at the top.
