The Latin name is Pinus Sylvestris. Pines were widely planted in the Netherlands at the beginning of the last century to capture drifting sand and also as shoring wood for mining. Pine has long been used “to clear the chest,” or in contemporary parlance, for respiratory problems.

Dosage and use

Usage

To properly dissolve the active ingredients, it is recommended to break the needles or otherwise grind them before cooking.

Dosage

About 1 gram per cup. Pour boiling water over the tea and let it steep for 10 to 20 minutes. If necessary, warm the tea before drinking. Use 4 cups per day as a cure.
