Teasel leaf tea
Dipsacus Fullonum
Description
Product description
The Latin name is Dipsacus Fullonum. Also known by the English name: Teasel.
Tea works a bit milder than a tincture. A tea can therefore be used for hypersensitivity and alcohol intolerance. Although a tincture has a stronger effect, tea can also be used for the same purpose. Tea is also suitable as a variation or as a supplement to a tincture. There is also Teasel tea from the root.
Can be used as a supportive, natural product alongside other therapies.
Plant description
The Teasel has a striking appearance. The long stem, branches, leaves and egg-shaped flowers all contain thorns. The opposite leaves form a cup at the stem where the water remains standing. A unique phenomenon in our flora.
The flower also contains many small tubular flowers that bloom in July/August. This bloom is remarkable: you see one or two pink rings that seem to walk over the egg-shaped flower head.
