Artemisia annua "Crete"
Artemisia Annua
Description
The Latin name is Artemisia annua. Other Dutch names are: Summer Wormwood, Sweet Wormwood, One-year Mugwort or Lieve Annie (Sweet Annie). It is a robust and beneficial, camphoraceous-scented, annual plant with bright green fine leaves and inconspicuous small green-yellowish flowers. In China this plant is called Qing Hao and is one of the most important herbs in traditional Chinese medicine.
This means that it is not allowed to sell it for internal use within the EU.
Sale as an aroma or as an external tick-resistant fragrance is currently permitted.
Artemisia annua can also be used to treat tick bites externally and also as a soil improver. For these applications we offer Artemisia annua.
