Latin name: Astragalus Membranaceus. In the Netherlands also known as fleshy hokjespeul.

Astragalus is native to the north and east of China, Mongolia and Korea. There this herb is known as Huang qi, which means yellow leader. The root of this herb in particular has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for several centuries. In Europe this herb became somewhat known through the book by S.H. Buhner.

Our Astragalus Tincture is prepared organically from the dried root of the Astragalus membranaceus. This is extracted in alcohol, so that the active ingredients are optimally preserved. It is a natural product without allergens.

Dosage and use

Usage

You can take the drops as is, or in a glass of water, half an hour before a meal. If you leave it for a while, the alcohol evaporates but the active substances are retained. Keep the liquid in your mouth for a while (preferably a minute) before swallowing; the ingredients come into contact with the oral mucosa and are immediately absorbed into the bloodstream.

Dosage

Always start with a low dose. The more severe the symptoms, the lower the starting dose. This is to prevent a lot of toxins from being released at once (due to the death of germs). Because toxins are always released (even at low doses), you should drink a lot of water during the treatment and use detoxification and elimination agents at the same time.

Average: build up to 15 to 30 drops 3 times a day.

Intensive: Build up to 30 to 60 drops 3 times a day.

Preventive: 3 to 5 drops 2 times a day.

Do not exceed recommended maximum daily dosage. Or as prescribed by your doctor or practitioner.

Duration

We recommend taking a break during prolonged use. Or after consultation with your practitioner.
