Boswellia tincture
Boswellia Serrata
Description
Latin name: Boswellia Serrata. Boswellia Serrata or Frankincense Tree grows in Asia or Africa. Boswellia Serrata tincture is made from the resin of the frankincense tree.
Slits are made in the bark of the trees and the sap that comes out is then collected. The use of frankincense resin is mainly known in Ayurvedic medicine.
It inhibits excessive fire processes in the body and has antioxidant properties. The liver is protected, the immune system is supported, good for blood circulation and improves mood. The resin was previously used against inflammations such as rheumatoid arthritis and colitis in the intestines. Boswellia is also suitable for use in Lyme disease, not only in Lyme arthritis.
The main component of Boswellia resin is Boswellia acids. These acids have a strong anti-inflammatory effect, almost comparable to pharmaceutical anti-inflammatory drugs, but without side effects.
