Latin name: Cryptolepis Sanguinolenta. Also known as Ghanaian quinine.

Cryptolepis is a flowering plant that grows in Africa and Asia. This herb is particularly well-known in Ghanaian traditional medicine and has been used in (West) Africa for many generations. Its folkloric benefits have led to a considerable amount of research. In Europe, this herb has become somewhat known through the book by SH Buhner.

It is the blood-red root of the plant that is used in particular for various health purposes. The root owes its power partly to its alkaloid, of which cryptolepine is the most praised.

Dosage and use

Usage

Half an hour before a meal you can take the drops as they are, or in a glass of water. If you leave it for a while, the alcohol evaporates but the active ingredients are retained. Keep the liquid in your mouth for a while (preferably a minute) before swallowing; the ingredients come into contact with the oral mucosa and are absorbed directly into the bloodstream.

Always start the treatment with a low dose. The more severe the symptoms, the lower the starting dose. This is to prevent a lot of toxins being released at once (by the death of germs). Because toxins are always released (even at low doses), it is advisable to drink a lot (of water) during the treatment and to use detoxification and elimination agents at the same time. (Such as e.g. Chlorella, Zeolite.)

Dosage

Standard dosage: Build up to 20 drops twice a day.

According to Buhner protocol: 20 to 40 drops 4 times a day.

This dosage is used for adults. For children aged 6 to 12, the dosage is usually halved.

Adjust the dosage according to your needs. Or as prescribed by your doctor or healthcare provider.

Duration of the treatment

The maximum dosage preferably not longer than 60 days. Do not exceed the recommended maximum daily dosage. Or after consultation with your physician.
