Product description

The Latin name is 'Isatis tinctoria' and is a biennial steppe plant from Eastern Europe and Asia. The plant can grow from one meter to 1.5 meters high and is rare in the Netherlands; it grows mainly along the banks of the Waal and Rhine.

The plant blooms from May to June with small, yellow flowers that bloom in loose bunches and on which fruits develop. The plant comes here because the seeds have washed up via the rivers from Switzerland and Germany to the Netherlands.

Generally strengthening and has a soothing effect on the respiratory tract. The root and leaves are mainly used in Chinese medicine as a natural antibiotic.

Dosage and use

Usage

Half an hour before a meal you can take the drops as they are, or in a glass of water. If you leave it for a while, the alcohol evaporates but the active ingredients are retained. Keep the liquid in your mouth for a while (preferably a minute) before swallowing; the ingredients come into contact with the oral mucosa and are absorbed directly into the bloodstream.

Always start the treatment with a low dose. The more severe the symptoms, the lower the starting dose. This is to prevent a lot of toxins being released at once (by the death of germs). Because toxins are always released (even at low doses), a lot of (water) is drunk during the treatment and at the same time detoxification and elimination agents are used.

Standard dosageBuild up to 10 drops in water twice daily (or more)

According to Buhner protocolBuild up to 10 drops in water 3 times a day (or more)

In case of acute symptomsBuild up to 20 drops up to 6 times per day.

For chronic symptomsBuild up to 3 times daily 10 drops in water and continue for 3 weeks. Then interrupt for 1 week and repeat the treatment if necessary.

This dosage is used for adults. For children aged 6 to 12, the dosage is usually halved.

Duration of the treatment

No long-term use. Do not continue the treatment for more than 3 weeks. Do not exceed the recommended maximum daily dosage. Or after consultation with your doctor.
